Custom cabinetry was used in the dressing room along with Oil rubbed bronze faucets and fixtures bringing this room up to a 5 star quality Guest Experience. Later she successfully completed post-graduate studies of Interior Design at NABA — Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Milan. Julie Wimmer has fashioned the interiors of houses, apartments and residences worldwide. Julie Wimmer has also created highly original and unique furniture design.

Julie Wimmer has drawn on inspiration from the world over — any place she likes, she is at home. She speaks Czech, English, German, Slovak and Polish fluently, as well as some Italian and Russian. Aside from interior design, she has also designed and created jewelry and fashion. In 2006 the FashionOffice internet magazine ranked her among elite fashion designers. Her collections sparked also attention in Asia, where Phoenix Jewelry Magazine, a prestigious Chinese fashion magazine, featured an extensive interview with her.

Her slogan: “The Unique for the Exceptional” applies to her interior design too. In her work, she follows only one dictum: “My client’s wishes are my priority. An interior must serve the client, and I am the one who gives it personality, beauty and spirit. I create interiors that meet client requirements and at the same time exceed their expectations by combining originality, practicality and high aesthetic value.”

interior designIJ’s Christina Walsh tackles deregulation of interior designers in Florida and shows there is not a shred of evidence to support the interior design cartel’s (lead by the ASID) most cherished myths about the supposed effects of deregulation. Less government red tape means greater opportunities for Interior Designers and more choices for consumers. Christina explains why.

UPDATE: In response to IJ’s myth-busting video, the interior design cartel has modified its false claim that “26 states believe the health, safety and welfare of their residents requires that Interior Designers be regulated.” The cartel now asserts that “While only 3 States, plus Washington DC and Puerto Rico license designers, 26 other states believe the health, safety and welfare of their residents requires that Interior Designers be regulated through various means.” But this is just the same old myth dressed up in more ambiguous language.
